Ministere de la Planification Projets pour Haiti
< Previous | Home | Next >
The Preval Goverment has a detailed planning of improvements for Haiti.
The plans where done by Haitian Economists and with the help of the International Community.
They have plans to create agriculture, aquaculture, tourism, education, roads, public transportation, electricity ect...
The plans are not only for Port-au-Prince but for the entire country including Tortuga Island, one of my favorites.
There are also talks to provide dual citizenship to the Haitian diaspora.
But they have to change the Constitution which I do not think it is difficult to do. The problem is red tape. In any event, there are detailed plans with actual dollar amounts needed to improve Haiti.
That is a good start.
However, my question to Preval is how come it is taking so long to implement the plans and to put them in action.
How come we are not seing roads built for example?
A new airport?
Hotels?
Electricity, water, etc...
Is it a money issue?
I thought money was given to Haiti for projects already?
Where did the money go?
If the money given to Haiti not sufficient, why not take my ideas on how to generate the money needed into action?
