I believe that I already stated in various posts, everything that you just said, so there's no need for me to tell you that I agree with everything that you have just said. It was nice that you took the time to compile it all into one post. However, I don't think it will make any difference to Haiti--most of those who read the post here are Preval's cronies.

And we all know that unless the diaspora does something drastic no one is ever going to let those people who can actually run the country come back to do it. So, you and I are waisting our time here. All of us in the diaspora who really care about our country and our people need to think about what is good for them in the long run. What is happening right now in Gonaive is happening because the diaspora has not taken a strong stand in a way that counts.

We have the power to make the changes we want to make in Haiti, we have the power to save our country and our people.

WE NEED TO USE THAT POWER.

As long as we keep sending money to Haiti, we are accomplices to this government and to the foreign powers that control it. As long as we keep sending money to Haiti, what happened in Gonaive will always happen.

Those in power are so afraid of my saying this that every time I do I get all sorts of threatening post, or post trying to make me back off by telling me that I am trying to kill the Haitian people.

I will answer to them right now, that it is they who have been killing the people! And they will continue to kill our people and destroy our country unless the diaspora takes action.

If we do stop supporting this government with our foreign money, people in Haiti will suffer for a short time, but then after that we will be able to start fixing things.

However, if we don't our pleople will suffer endlessly.

The misery that we see now will double than triple until nothing is left our the nation and any power will be able to take over the territory (most likely the US who has lost all of their other Latin American strongholds in the region).

DIASPORA PEOPLE; YOU HAVE THE POWER TO STOP WHAT IS HAPPENING IN HAITI--USE IT--SAVE OUR NATION AND OUR PEOPLE.

STOP SUPPORTING CORRUPT HAITIAN GOVERNMENTS WITH YOUR FOREIGN DOLLARS.

DIASPORA PEOPLE OUR POWER IS IN OUR MONEY.

WE ARE THE ONES WHO ARE GUILTY OF SUPPORTING GUTTER RAT GOVERNMENTS IN OUR COUNTRY BECAUSE WE PROVIDE THEM WITH OUR FOREIGN MONEY.

IF WE CUT OFF THAT SOURCE UNTIL WE GET WHAT WE WANT WE WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE THE CHANGES WE WANT TO MAKE. Think about it.

(those of you about to send me nasty posts or getting ready to try and guilt me by telling me that I want to kill the people, should know that I wont intimidate easily and I know that you don't give a damn about my people.

So, your really begging for your own pockets not for my people.

If you cared about the people you would be fighting to do what needs to be done to save them).
