Inflation can not be one of the admin. priorities

Inflation is one of the most fascinating issues facing economies around the world as a whole.

However, in the case of Haiti, I do not believe that anyone is seriously working on that end of the spectrum.The central bank is the arm used to manipulate the money supply in order to achieve such objective, through interest adjustment, money supply, health of the financial market just to name a few. In haiti, we have a long way to go. How do you control inflation when most of the products used in the country on a daily basis are not being manufactured in Haiti.

Our currency float just as any well develop countries currency, yet no one spoke about the monetary policy that the Preval administration is trying to achieve.

Where is the Minister of Economy?

Where is the central bank president?

etc. Well, if you want to help Haiti, we need to take care of the most basic priorities, such as electricity, roads, land lines, transportation in order to get to the most sophisticated planning.
