A new idea

(Copied from an earlier response)
OK, I've come-up with a new idea.

As you know, I believe that the Diaspora as a force can change things in Haiti.

We know that this government and its American supporters are doing everything they can to keep the Diaspora out, because they know that if we start returning in mass, than this government's days of screwing up is over.

So, I am thinking that if we are tired of asking the wrong people to do the right thing, maybe we should take them out of the equation completely.

If those of us living in foreign countries create a mass return-migration to Haiti, our collective numbers alone would be enough to create a forceful and solid power shift--giving us more than enough clout to force those in power to make the changes we want.

We need a leader who would organize this.

I think even those of us who are fully established in other countries would get enthusiastic and hopeful about returning if we were part of a massive reverse-migration movement.

THIS CAN BE DONE.

The Ayatollah Khomeini led a whole revolution against the Shah of Iran using only video cassettes (no internet back then).
