I took the time to carefully read all the responses.

First let me say that talking about the problems that this movement would face is exactly what we need to be doing.

Second, and right now this is mostly to Tiba; we have to keep our cool. Tiba, you have to remember that there will be many individuals and even groups of people who will attack anyone who is thinking what we are thinking.

This--Diasporas Coup D Ta--guy is just the beginning.

Remember that everyone who is benefiting from the way the country is now will do and say anything to keep a movement like this from taking shape.

SO TIBA STAY COOL. The answer you gave him was accurate, but would have been a lot more effective if you had said it in a less aggressive tone. REMEMBER, THE COOLER YOU ARE THE MORE YOU CAN GET YOUR POINT ACROSS.

You can actually put someone in their place by staying cool. YOU CAN SAY SOMETHING LIKE "YOUR RUDE AND NASTY ANSWER WAS NOT NECESSARY, BUT I WILL TAKE THE TIME ANYWAY TO ANSWER SOME OF THE POINTS YOU MADE." Something like that lets everybody know that the guy's a jerk, but you on the other hand come off clean and reasonable.

Think about it guys, every member of the Preval government is going to attack and call stupid any idea that might threaten their thieving livelihood.

Every wealthy elite who got rich by ripping off the people will be shouting that this is a stupid plan. Shouting back at them is not good leadership.

Answering them with facts and a positive vision will keep the movement growing.

So, lets keep calm; if I loose my calm, you guys should also remind me to stay cool. I do tent to stay very cool when I know that a person is trying to upset me--but you never know.

Third, Rintintin said "Some people are rightly concerned that the government and even the elites might not be too enthusiastic about a massive return of the haitian diaspora." Rintintin, no one said this would be easy. If it was we would not need a leader.

Much of those who are supposedly the "elite" in Haiti today, only became so after the most of the true upper classes in Haiti left. If you read some of my previous posts, you'll see that I think the same way about this group as I do about Preval and his cronies.

A bunch of gutter rats who now have money and power, with none of the real finesse and knowledge of the groups that they replaced.

There are a few true elites left in the country, and most of them would welcome anything that brings Haiti back from the horror that it's become.

But this group is very small and really has no voice in Haiti right now. So yes, Rintintin, many from the "upper" classes would hate the idea of this movement, and we should expect them to post all sorts of reasons why it would not work. But we all know that our numbers add-up. A simple way to look at this is to that of what happens when you drop several mid size rocks in a barrel of water; well, it changes the composition of the water's chemistry, but most of all it changes the space occupied by that water.

It's all in the numbers.Look at what happened in Jamaica.

The same is starting to happen in many African countries, and the results are very positive.

Four, welcome to our blog Romelito.

Or maybe you are just using a different name; either way welcome.

Romelito, you are not wrong in looking at the diaspora that returned after Jean Claude.

But you are missing the real picture.

The diaspora that return after Jean Claude were not that many. They might have been more than the usual, but it was not a MASSIVE REVERSE MIGRATION the way we are talking about it now. THAT IS WHY IT DID NOT SCARE ANYONE.

This would have to be a REAL movement.

THE KIND THAT WHEN ITS FINALLY HAPPENING PEOPLE STARE AT THE LINES OF HAITIANS GOING ALL THE WAY AROUND THE AIRPORTS ALL OVER THE WORLD; THE KIND OF JOINT MOVEMENT WHERE THE PREVAL'S GOVERNMENT AIRPORT WORKERS ARE TOO OVERWHELMED TO HANDLE THE MASS AMOUNT OF PEOPLE COMING IN; THE KIND OF PEOPLE DISPLAY THAT WOULD JAM FOR DAYS ALL AIRPORTS ALL OVER THE WORLD AND LEAVE THE WORLD AT AWE OF HAITIANS IN ACTION.

This would regain our respect in the modern world.

Five, Djakut, I'm sorry but I just noticed your post. I'll try to get to it tomorrow.
