Why are they always in opposition to any government that favours taxes?

Francois this is not the first time I have heard this statement.

My question is don't we have an agency like the IRS in other words, internal revenue services to collect tax from businesses and workers in Haiti.

Tax collection should not be the responsibility of the executive government.

This is why i think it's very important that all the institutions in Haiti need to be strengthened and functioned imdependently from the influence of the government, to prevent this kind of behavior.

That's really messed up!!! If there is some kind of tax collection agency then they need to go after these crooks, not the government, not that i think there's anything wrong with the government requiring businesses to pay taxes.

But we have to do it in a way that is effective, The most effective way is to reinforce such an agency if it exists.

In doing so noone can accuse any government of wrongdoing.

If anybody refuses to pay their taxes I support doing the same thing the US does siezing properties and anything the agency can get its hand on. We wouldn't be begging the international community for money if everybody paid their taxes and there wasn't so much corruption in the ports.

We need to address all these issues.
