HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU TOO TIBA!!!

I also took a break from the blog; I just couldn't see why continue.

First, I felt like I was spending too much of my energy on the blog. Second, I saw a video of Preval answering questions from reporters, and at that moment I realized how truly hopeless our Haitian situation is. At that point, it occurred to me that I might be giving Preval more credit than he deserves by saying that he is a purely evil, greedy individual.

After seeing him at that press conference, it occurred to me that there's a very good chance that this is simply an extremely ignorant, mentally defective individual.

In which case, all is really lost, because he doesn't have the ability to be anything but just a puppet.
