I think that you are missing the point, Linda.

It doesn't matter if Mr Delva was a crook or a fake reporter.

The bigger issue here has to do with freedom of expression.

Without journalists, the haitian people won't be informed of what is going on in the country.

Therefore the governemnt should guarantee the freedom of the press.

There is no democracy without freedom of the press.
