I would have to say, the visit will not bring any changes into the country.
I would like all Haitian to remember one thing! the United States is very much behind poverty in Haiti.
Democracy produces nothing but misery.
I saw Wyclef and the former US President Bill Clinton giving food to the people in Citesoleil area as a great sign of humanity; however one ought to remember, the USA is fully reponsible for part of the blood shed in the pass years in Haiti.
Kidnapping our Presindent Aristide will not be forgotten.
The problems in Haiti cannot be addressed by bringing food for one day; rather it's an insult to our great nation. The United Nations and the United States should restablish peace in Haiti by returning home our President Aristide that they had forced to leave the land.
No country can ever survive without the basic needs.
If we Haitians embrace Democracy, and the USA is the Super power or Father of Democracy! what's in it for us?Then why are we suffering so much under Democracy?
I would like to know if the visit is simply for the benefit of personal interest or is it for the general mass of the Haitian Republic?
Aristide was never outsted by the people of Haiti; I believe the United States Government and the United Nations could have stopped any major threats to the Aristide Government instead of standing on the side lines and allowing him to be kidnapped.
I call for all Haitian leaders to unite for the benefit of our country and stop selling our freedom for the sake of greenbacks.
