I remember when Obama was running for president critics were calling him an elitist who could not relate to the average person.

His critics said he wasn't like the average american and for that people shouldn't vote for him. When i get in an airplane i don't care that the pilot is not like me, all i care about is that he's able to fly the airplane.

It seems like haitians don't elect the capable, smart leaders who can come up with solutions.

They prefer the crooks who preach division and nonsense "timtim bwa seche".

Why, i don't know maybe it's a lack of education.

Our people need to be educated, they need to learn how to think objectively.

I think they're should be a reform in the education system in haiti.

That system which they use now is old and ineffective but i don't think the political leaders want to do anything about that. Because the lack of education make it easier for them to fool the mass. It makes it easier for them to tell the mass that somebody else is to blame when these political leaders fail. Haitians need to start electing intelligent and competent leaders as mayors, deputies, senators, and presidents.

Successful societies choose the best of the best to lead them not the worse.
