Dear "Share the news..." Although I was raised Catholic, I'm not particularly on board with any type of religious concepts.

However, I do have great respect for the teachings in Buddhism; perhaps because Buddhism is not really a religion (which are based on a god or many gods).

Buddhism is a belief in a way of life that allows ALL beings to be at ease. One can't really find that in ANY religion, as they all seem to have as their primary focus the need to divide people into those who are like them or unlike them.

Now regarding your wonderful attempt to bring peace and harmony to this debate; let me first say that I do appreciate the effort.

However, let me also remind you that the Tibetan Buddhist monks have lost their home permanently to the Chinese because they refuse to fight for their belief or their land. Hence, as much as I think that it would be great if Buddha's teachings could be put to practice, it is often fool hardy to do so. As for the nasty individuals who have come to this blog since I was last here a few weeks ago, I have already said that--regardless of what they say--I will not answer them anymore, as it is a waist of my time.

Again, I do appreciate your efforts toward peace.
