Hugues Sanon words on Memorial day to the heroes

< Previous | Home | Next >

I am sending this message to all american soldiers who fought for this great country (america).

as we all know that memorial day is a day when all americans, regardless of ideologies, race, creed, or political persuasion, join to remember the sacrifices of those who answered their nation's call.
we love you and we appreciate the sacrifices you have made for this country as we remember those who lost their lives for this great country.

their fought and died to preserve this land of hope and dreams.

the opportunity that all nations enjoy, the freedom that so many americans and other nation are enjoying in america did not come cheaply.

they were paid for with flesh and blood of american servicemen and women, and with the tears of those whose lives were changed forever by the loss of a loved one.

let me give you some facts about some wars the american heros fought with some casualties and deaths.

in the revolutionary war there were more than 10.000 casualties, with more than 4.000 deaths.

in other word about 55 americans dying each month of the war in the 80 months of this revolutionary war. in korean ware, there were 136,935 casualties, with 33, 651 deaths, or about 909 americans dying in combat each moth of the ware for the 37 months of war. in 90 months of the vietam war there were 211,471 casualties, with 47,369 deaths, or about 526 americans dying in combat each month of this war. in 1 month of the gulf war there were 760 casualties, with 293, deaths, or 148 americans dying in combat during the month of the war.

they died for the american people.

the died for their country.

they did their duty.

today tens of thousands of americans flocked to cemeteries and parades to honor the dead of the american soldiers, many stay home enjoying barbecues and some go for picnics.

excellent! but, do it with heart and continue to pray for the families of the lost ones and ask God to continue to bless america and the rest of the world.

happy Memorial day to all.
