I knew from the start that she was not a historian.

Personally I want to read her works because I've heard a lot about her novels mostly from the American Media.

She's doing an excellent job representing Haiti.

And Haiti needs talents like hers we not only need historians but we also needs novelists who write novels based on Haitian cultures.

A person like her constantly reminds me not ever settle for less.
