I recently had a chance to observe Dr. Guy Theodore; the man that some Haitians are now trying to get to run for the presidency in Haiti.

After observing him carefully, I came to the conclusion that Dr. Theodore is a wonderful human being, but he should keep being a doctor.

Not because someone is a good person or a doctor means that that person has the skills necessary to be president--look what happened with Duvalier.

We all think we can bring great changes to Haiti, but that does not actually mean that we have what it takes to be president.

Dr. Theodore, as wonderful as he is, would be lost in high political circles where only the sharp, slick, devious type of intelligence is needed for powerful negotiations.

My brother once said to me, "when the devil makes you an offer, you ought to be able to say NO." That is my advice to Mr. Theodore.

Do not let yourself get tempted by all the hype around you and all the people who are trying to put you in office so that they can become important.

Keep doing the good that your doing, and you will have served your country well. By the way, DON'T BE CONFUSED, God is not trying to get you in office, Haitian sharks are.
