A firefight ensued between the suspects and another group.

A teenager has been arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at a car wash last week, Miami-Dade police said.

Larry Jerome Johnson, 16, was arrested Friday and charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery, Detective Juan Villalba said. Police think he was the man who shot Trinard Snell on June 9 at the Valero gas station at 7045 NW 27th Ave.

Police said they think Johnson was with two other men who were trying to rob Snell and a friend, Charlemagne Benjamin.

When Snell started running, police said, Johnson shot and killed him.

Prosecutors say they've dropped domestic violence charges against a tourist whose brother was shot and killed by Miami Beach police in June.

The State Attorney's Office in South Florida dropped the charges against 31-year-old Samer Shehada Tuesday.

Police had charged Shehada with domestic battery for allegedly hitting his girlfriend hours before the fatal shooting.

Shehada and his brother, 29-year-old Husien Shehada, had been visiting Miami Beach from Virginia with their girlfriends.

Authorities say 20-year-old Antavio Johnson raps about killing two Lakeland police officers and refers to a Polk County sheriff's deputy and police dog killed in the line of duty. The song is called "Kill Me a Cop."

Johnson - whose stage name is T.O. - pleaded no contest to two counts of corruption by threat of a public servant and was sentenced on July 24 to two years in prison.

Both boys were at an Opa-locka town house in the 14000 block of Northwest 17th Avenue Saturday afternoon when Ervin died, police said.

According to the police report, the rifle's owner is Raphael's 21-year-old cousin, who was not named.
