There are many Haitians who are in the United States for another purpose: to pursue their education, to join their family, to work and make money, to support their family, to pursue a carreer, a profession or to gain experience in one or more professional fields.

They can accomplish all of this legally without considering to become a U.S. citizen.

For one reason or another they choose not to renounce their Haitian citizenship.

There are other Haitian Diaspora in other countries who adopted a second citizenship without renouncing their Haitian citizenship.

When they choose to permanently return to Haiti, the Haitian Laws will not prevent them to fully exercise their political rights - because they never renounced.

Why the Haitian Diaspora who took the Oath of Citizenship of the United States refuse to consider this in the debate?

What weight do they represent in the whole package with other Haitian Diaspora who choose not to renounce their Haitian nationality?

5%?

10%?

or 25%?

Do they represent a minority?

Are they fighthing a lost cause?

Are they in denial with themselves?

I think this guy's point of view make a lot of sense.
