I am a young Haitian living in the US and I proudly profess that I am a christian.

I've even been baptized.

Now, I will also be the first to admit that I am not the model christian.

I hate when sometimes i meet people and I tell them I'm Haitian and automatically they start making jokes about voodoo and inferring that i practice voodoo; it's very annoying.

A lot of people seem to believe that all Haitians practice voodoo.

Personally I don't think it's a benevolent sect and I also do not have a good opinion about voodoo.

Nevertheless, I think we are fooling ourselves if we think voodoo is the sole reason why Haiti is in that deplorable state.

America in general may not practice voodoo but they do other deplorable things that I'm sure God finds intolerable, yet they're doing just fine. This is another lie from the white man. They have their right foot on our neck and they're holding us down meanwhile they're trying to draw our attention from their oppressions with a scapegoat.

These people are devious and they are masters when it comes to spreading propaganda.

Don't get me wrong I believe Haitians are also responsible for our fate but the truth is we are also being pushed off the cliff.
