I was living and working in Haiti from 1982 though 1985 and I agree 100% with the comments you have made. There was poverty but there was also safety and things can be better once again for Haiti I have faith.

With some planning and unity things can be great for Haiti.

The U.S. is going downhill with its economic demise and numberous wars and former Vice President Dick Cheney has pedicted soon U.S. will be hit with nuclear weapons(s) or germ warfare and hundreds of thousands of poeple will die. I don't know of any such pedictions for Haiti so no matter how bad things may be now there is a good chance with unity of purpose we can turn things around, Have faith and if you want to be added to my mailing list as it effects Haiti contact me at rkgs141 at yahoo dot com.
