My son I was not even born in 1915 when the U.S. invaded Haiti and the story is true that Haiti had a brilliant General who was leading Haitian defeat of Dominican Republic but that a Voodoo priest sent him a message he should return home at once and when he did Haiti lost the war. Check your history.

I do not defend all the actions of the U.S. government and agree with President Obama that the Iraq war was a mistake just as the defeated foreign policies in Vietnam were a mistake as was the way Southerners were treated after the civil war. Even to this day there are no U.S. stamps with the picture of General Robert E. Lee or President Jefferson Davis on them! My love for Haiti has nothing to do with my racial makeup which is part Arab as my last name is an Arab name and many Arabs are people of color.

Its only in the West that people make such a big to do about race. Working together without hatred for one another we will liberate the Haitians help as slaves in the D.R.
