Alle calm down a minute.

What President Rafael Trujillo did to Haitians during his presidency is unforgivable, what Haitians are enduring in the Dominican Republic today is unacceptable.

However, it would be stupid and idiotic to oppose a candidate because his name sounds foreign or that his ancestry is Dominican.

As I look at the list of Haitian presidents we've had over the past 200 hundred years all their names sound familiar, they're mostly blacks with the exception of a few mulattoes here and there but most of them never did anything for the country.

I'm not saying we should vote for someone simply because he is white or mulatto, what I'm saying is that we should not oppose a candidate solely on the color of his skin or his name.

Get rid of this stupid, childish, racist, mentality.

I'm sick of it. It is 2010 for God sake. We are too far behind as a nation and the reason we are so far behind is because the majority of Haitians think the way you think.

We keep electing the same group of thieves who don't know anything about how to govern a country.

We keep electing them because they're black and that they're skillful liars.

Haiti is no longer a homogeneous nation, it never was frankly while black is still the majority, we also have whites, Hispanics and a small group of Asians.

As long as a candidate meets the requirements set by the constitution then we should not have any problems voting for him as long as we agree with the plans and vision he has for the country.
