More love pride for Haiti in time of misery!!!!

< Previous | Home | Next >

Looking on the images/photos/and videos being shown, I can't help but to notice the calmness, the serenity, and peace in the Haitian's faces as they being pulled out of the rubles and the debris.

They make me very proud once again for being Haitian.

I love my homeland even more now than ever because of the way the victim Haitians are handling the devastation with so much grace and dignity.

The sudden overnight unity of the Haitian people in helping each other, comforting each other, watching after each other, etc. etc...

makes me really proud in this time of great need and hopelessness.

Despite of the poverity and everything else they had to face with daily in their lives, they have shown to the world that being rich is not always the most important thing in someone's life.

Looking at that kind of strenghth and resiliency displayed by my people in this time of despair help me to go on and stop crying as I have been doing.

I am now in peace because I have been reassured that we, Haitians, will get through this as one people and one nation once again.

We had had survived and rebuilt after the first big earthquake in 1742. We will rebuild once again maybe not with the incompetent and mediocre, and drunk Preval, but we will and that is a promise.

As soon as it becomes practicle, I will get myself on a plane and head to Haiti.

I hope I can go very soon.
