I can't believe people like you still exist.

It's impolite to tell a person that they are being impolite, but you are truly out of line and I can tell by your response that you are not well versed on the matter.

Please keep your racist comments off this forum.

Haitians are proud people; a nation of African slaves that fought for their independence and won. How were we repaid?

We were ordered to sign contracts not to free other enslaved colonies in the region and had to agree to pay France for their losses in the sum $150M gold francs *(equivalent of $20b today).

No wonder we are the poorest county in the Western Hemisphere.

Regardless, we assisted Nations to fight for their freedom and one of our Haitian brothers founded the City of Chicago.

Not to get historical with you, cause clearly this is over your head but I think I speak for all Haitians when I say "Thank you to the International Community, we are touched by your generosity, as we Haitians say - L'Union fait la force - and this is being demonstrated through the strength and goodwill of humanity.

Your kind contributions will assist Haiti in rebuilding itself and for this we are indebted.

That being said we are not fools, the Americans took over the Airport, aid is not reaching the people that truly need assistance, people are dying everyday and the efforts of the Haitian Government, Doctors and Grassroot NGOs are not televised on mainstream media.

We are not helpless and we are not to become the next UNICEF commercial." This is a tragedy that was caused by an uncontrollable circumstance, it was predicted but nothing was put in place to prevent the situation as was the case for New Orleans in the United States of America.

I would like to say one last thing, if you are not a Native Aboriginal of the Americas; this is not your country to claim - you stole it. Go back to Europe; go back to the mountain you came from. It's funny how people like you think that this is your part of the world when clearly it's not. You are just another blind man without a cane.
