We appreciate the outpour of aid to Haiti

< Previous | Home | Next >

But, when it's all over, what will become of the Haitian culture and heritage?

What will become of the children flown all over the world?

Will they be raised to uphold the Haitian dignity, will they be made a laughing stock for the Haitian and for other blacks or will they learn to scorn us (as so many of us already scorn one another)?

Will we become slaves of the future or will we be given real opportunities?

What is happening to my country?

What is happening to my people and to me?

When will hope and freedom be real for Haitians?

When will our dignity uphold for all of us?
