Haitians Speak English More Than French

< Previous | Home | Next >

Thanks to the Haitian Diaspora, many Haitians do speak more English than French.

This time Haitians will take their destiny at hands and the colonial French language will disappear for real. Haitians said that Creole helps them understand English better than French.

After 206 years of Haitian history only 15% of Haitians speak French, what a shame?

We shall opt for Creole as the only official language and place all other languages as foreign languages.

There will be no more uneducated versus educated Haitians (analphabets ou illetres versus intellectuels) anymore.

Haiti has been kicked out from the French Countries' Association due to the fact that Haiti does not have 70% of Haitians that speak French.

Haiti holds a seat of auditor to attend any Francophony meeting, what a shame?

Who can we blame by using the blame-accusations?

This time there will be no blame at the end of Preval's term. In our new Haiti, we will have Creole as the only official language like Cuba, Dominican Republic and U.S.A. just to name a few. We will create a department of foreign languages for all those who want to learn other foreign languages, but our local and creole language will prevail among all. We will have an African Languages Institute to learn Fulani, Yoruba, Bambara and Igbo that created our beautiful Creole Language.

Our creole contains all those four languages and we must speak them all. We came all from West Africa and we must reconnect to our mainland in Africa.

Haitians came from Mali, Benin, Togo, Senegal, Cote D'Ivoire and Ghana to name a few. We must reconnect to West Africa again and there will be cultural contacts between Haiti and those countries.

We will end corruption and the country will be open to all. The New provisional government will be formed with unpaid volunteer people to set up a new social basis path for all. We must say it outloud: Tout moun se moun e tout moun pral moun. There will be no "Bel moun and moun fou" to repeat Nancy Roc and old collaborator of Duvalier.

She said it in one her online radio interviews that she recalls: "Le bel moun (milat yo) te mele ak moun fou (neg nwe yo)" to recall the good times in Haiti.

I am saying in the new Haiti, there will be no "Bel moun ak moun fou" because we will be all Haitians.

There will be no subservients and racketeerians anymore.

Someone told me to be careful, for Haiti has too many corrupted subservients and they would kill me if I kept denouncing social injustices and oppression in Haiti.

There is saying that states: The slaves will love their masters more than those who are trying to open their eyes. I realize that there many slaves posting on this site and they are so angry when others are denouncing social injustices in Haiti.

What a shame for those slaves! Mathieu, you are right when you said the other day that you have no time for those corrupted slaves.

I am going to continue to talk to them myself until they shut up the yell up!
