Jean-Claude was a French citizen president in Haiti and the French government justified it when he was granted asylum status in France.

France radio spent weeks telling all Haitians that Jean-Claude was not Haitian like Petion, Boyer and Geffrard to name a few. Those stupid pdts destroyed Haiti to enrich the Haitian elites and France as well. Shame on all!
