Dear Mr. President
I'm a H.S Biology teacher in Miami.

In the 67-70, I used to be in school(Lycee) in France with Lesly Michell, your ex in-law.

He knows me very well. I currently live in Miami and is married to a Peruviam lady.

Haiti water shortage is extremly critical and will get worst while the population density explodes.

As you know, agresive planting of appropiate trees is a vital, a sine qua none necessity for the nation.

If goverments continue their tax policy on propane gaz, wood charcoal will always be cheaper and this will systematicaly kill any kind of reforestation effort.

The goverments on the DR have been subsadizing gaz oven for 50 years, with no tax on propane.Look at the results.Need an other source of revenue?

Increase tax on alchol and tabacco, luxury items, try payroll taxe ect....Talk to the people .They will understand and support you on this one. Please I beg you, keep the gaz free of tax. and sell cheap localy produced gaz and solar oven.You use to run a boulangerie.How did you do it ?.

What about that double nationalty debate for expatriate haitians like me?

This needs to be resolve via common sense, don't you think?
