I did not know that Parent was in the running.

I will have to look at her record more closely now that I know this. What I know of her so far is very good, but I will need to know more before I support her for the candidacy.

Several years ago, I started splitting my time almost equally between both countries.

However, but I must admit that because of work I have been spending more time in the US this year. Before the earthquake, I was contemplating a permanent return, but now I'm not sure. Maybe I'll just keep doing the half and half; it worked well so far.

If Parent is running, she should post something of her history online so that Haitians all over the world can get to know her better.
