Paul G. Magloire is currently CEO of the Company Prospectives System International (PROSINT) and also President of the sociopolitical organization Movement for Reconciliation and National Revival (MORN).

Interior Minister of Haiti, from June 2005 to June 2006, he played a key role in organizing the first elections were held without systematic challenges.

He also launched a program of decentralization of the capital by strengthening local councils of different towns in the country.

From March 2004 to June 2005, Mr. Magloire was Special Adviser to the Prime Minister Gérard Latortue.

He distinguished himself in this position, by its constant effort to hold free and fair elections involving all political sectors in the country.

Prior Experience Mr. Magloire spans eighteen years in the United States of America (USA), including seven for the Information Agency of the United States, (USIA) in Washington, DC It is distinguished, inter alia, as an analyst for the Voice of America.

A strong advocate of continuing the democratic process in Haiti, he played an important role in facilitating dialogue involving all political sectors in Haiti to end the crisis created by the coup of 1991 against President Jean-Bertrand Aristide.

He also participated in major forums on the topic.

In 1994 he received the Information Agency of the United States (USIA) and the distinction Honor Merit for his work. In May 2005, Oslo, Norway, during the UN Conference on Integrated Missions, Mr. Magloire defended the principle of running a national dialogue in countries emerging from conflict.

After the fall of the Duvalier regime, Mr. Magloire was special adviser to Thomas Désulmé and took charge of planning the National Labor Party he represented the Group of 57 which brought together activists sector and the emerging democratic had a role in the adoption of the 1987 Constitution.

Mr. Magloire is recognized as a progressive entrepreneur.

He believes in the existence of strong democratic institutions capable of fostering economic development.

Member of the Board of Directors of the Company Haitian Spinning (SAFICO) in the early 1980s, he also participated in the formation of the National Association of Haitian artists in the 1970s, helping to launch many artists who later became famous.

He has published several articles on issues of social injustice and political freedom in newspapers and magazines in the country.

He has lectured extensively on the role of political parties in a democratic system with emphasis on the experience of the National Party and Liberal Party in the 19th Century in the country.

And it was, also Chief Executive Officer of the Society of Agricultural and Agro-Industrial Production, which launched the first major reforestation effort in Haiti.

Paul G. Magloire was born December 2, 1953. Winner of his class at the Ecole Normale Superieure d'Haiti, where he studied Social Sciences and Philosophy, he taught these subjects, first in college in the capital, then chose to go and teach Pinchinat High School in Jacmel, to support the educational reform advocated by Minister of Education of the time, Mr. Joseph C. Bernard.

Very early he began to fight for democracy that has always defended with conviction and enthusiasm.

Thus, in 1986, he prepared for members of the Constituent Assembly the text "Prospects for a Haitian Renaissance, his impassioned plea for devolution and decentralization of the country.

In this text, he sought to convey a basic demand of the movement of 1986 which called for a national effort to establish a participatory democracy and sustainable development for the improvement of living conditions of the population.
