Preval blog is a funny site

My name is Ingrid Ramprakash.

My father is Trinidadian and my mother is Barbadian.

I was born in Barbados.

I met my boyfriend Louis in Boca Raton, Florida 6 years ago. Louis is from Haiti.

We live together and have a 3 years old son named Clyde.

This morning my boyfriend Louis was reading Preval blog and I saw he was laughing more than usual while he was reading the Dr. Feel Bad story.

I asked him why Dr. Feel Bad admitted the Avenger in a psychiatric ward. My boyfriend look at me and started laughing again.

He then told me, this is a virtual reality show but the issues and details are real and reflect what is going on in the Haitian community in Haiti and elsewhere.

He then show me other names like Tiba, Ayisyen Patriyot, Wilbert,Antonio, Sabine,Brian, Bernadette,Carlos, Dark Knight and other are virtual actors.

Doctor Feel Bad is a virtual doctor.

The Avenger is a virtual person and he is being admitted in a virtual hospital.

I started laughing too.
You Haitian people I respect your intelligence and creativity.

Before I met my boyfriend Louis, I thought the Haitians were stupid because I never heard good thing about Haiti on TV, Newspapers and books.

However I noticed that most Haitians that came to my house and those I met elsewhere are highly intelligent.

The black doctors, nurses, and educators in Florida tends to be Haitians also. Haitian don't argue and fight over rhum, women, cricket, baseball, dope and stupid stuff like my people do. The Haitian always talk about politics and intellectual things.

They like to read. They have the sense of hospitality and are the less selfish people in the West Indies.

No Preval site is not funny all the time. Sometime it is boring with people that criticize everything even their own... read more >
