Ralph,

It seems to me you rely too much on the Americans to form your opinion.

You need to be a free thinker.

Haitians cannot, shoudl not, and must not think like Americans, or live like them, nor speak the langauge that we think they want us to speak.

You said "Creole is not a true language..." I do not understand what you mean by that! if Creole is not a true language, what is it then?

Ralph I think you have become too Americanized.

Ralph, amongst gazillions of languages being spoken on the planet, there are only three that are recognized as "live languages (langues vivantes)" meaning these languages are the most spoken on the planet and they are: English, Spanish, and French.

All the other languages are considered, by the world views, as "dead languages (langues mortes)" meaning those languages are spoken only and strictly in their respective countries and not outside.

Creole is the 4th emerging language in the world that is spoken not only Haiti but in the state of Lousiana, in some west African countries, in St. Lucia in the Caribbean, etc...

are you aware of the Creole conference that takes place every year?

All the countries, where Creole is spoken, meet somewhere every year to...

English, however, is the most spoken language in the business/commerce community around the world.

I don't quite understand your argument.

Creole is a language like any other language spoken on the planet.

Unfortunately, we, Haitians, don't never seem able to appreciate anything that is Haiti.

Haitians are brainwashed by white people who make them feel inferior unless they speak any other language other than Creole, lissten to any other type of music unless other than kompa, etc...

Ralph, I don't know when was the last time you were in Haiti, but you need to know that like the United States, Haiti is multilangual country where you find English, French, Spanish, Arabic, and of course Creole.

You also said "I completely agree with you saying that the administration is the reason for Haiti's downfall.

But as that being true, let us not forget that the people of Haiti also has some blames with the lack of education and the lack of drive to make drastic changes."

This rational shows how disconnected you are with the issue.

Contrary to your belief, it is always and it will always be the job and responsibility of the government to create/establish a solid education program to educate all of its citizens.

The Haitian people are not to be blame for not able to go to school to get an education.

EDUCATION has always been and will always be a government program.

Once again, it is the job, the responsibility, the obligation of the government to educate its citizens.

That is the theme of governments all around the world, and only Haitian government that doesn't get it.

To use Creole as reason for Haiti's failures, downfalls, and misteps, is a big stretch, a scapegoat, and an over-the-top denial.
