Wyclef Jean and Haiti: Would Americans elect Ludacris for President

< Previous | Home | Next >

Haitians are grateful for what Wyclef has done for Haiti -- that he always has talked positively about the country in the American press.

But running for President is quite another thing.

First, he doesn't even fulfill the constitutional requirements to run for President, and second, he has absolutely no experience.

His work with his Yele Haiti foundation has been suspect for tax violations and misuse of funds.

To be sure, a non-profit is hard to run, but it seems he did some very questionable actions.

The discussion in the US press about him being a viable candidate makes a joke out of our country -- would Americans elect Ludacris for President?

He's not serious and we need someone serious to put our country back together.

We need a real, tested leader
