Antonioj,

I say "Amen et Insiswatil" to that, and must tell you this is the first time that I have thrown my 100% support behind a presidential candidate in Haiti Quisqueya or bohio better know as Haiti Tonma.

I am fully aware and acknowledge the weaknessess of Wyclef Jean as a president because I am not that dumb, naive, and stupid, but he's worth given the benefit of the doubt.

So far he's been the only one showing some leadership in the wake of Haiti's nightmare of last January 12, 2010. Wyclef Jean was the very first person on the scene helping out and carying on his shoulders dead bodies, big bags of rice and beans to the victims and providing comfort to the victims.

These people were feeling good to get that from him. And that is leadership and wisdom.

True leadership is shown in time of trouble and he did that.

In the meantime, those politicians who were elected to serve and to protect the Haitian people, those leaders with several college degrees and Ph.Ds who speak many diferent languages, were nowhere to be found including Preval, the president.

The elite fled the country including the so-called leaders and elected officials instead of staying to show some caring, empathy, sympaty, etc. and give comfort and assistance to the victims and to the country as a whole.

While Haitians were left to die alone by their elected so-called leaders, but the only face they were looking at was the face of Wyclef Jean. In the midst of this horrific tragedy Wyclef was not concerned about his safety and didn't seem to care much about his life either.

He was the only there on the ground helping.

This is the translation of leadership, caring for his people, and love for his country.

I think Ms. Journalist Majorie mentioned a tax problem that is langering over Wyclef Jean's head that would dominant his campaign, etc....

But Ms. Journalist seemed to purposely failed to acknowledge one very important element on this issue, and that is Wyclef Jean is not running for public office in the United States.

He is running for president in Haiti and last time I checked, Haiti was NOT a state of the United States nor a US territory either.

Haitians don't give a crap about whether Wyclef owes taxes to the US government or not, I don't! these are 2 different issues which must be handled accordingly, and try not to mix oranges and apples together.
