Give me ONE good Reason to keep "HOPE" for Haiti!!

< Previous | Home | Next >

It's been 3 decades or so since I fled my native country Haiti.

Despite all the odds, I still travel to Haiti every year to visit with my folks and friends and to see the country that I love so much.

Unfortunately, ever since I left my beloved Haiti, not once, that I ever recieved a "Good news/Uplefting news" coming out of the country.

In fact, loads of bad and depressing news just keep coming in every day by the minute.

I am on a crossed road where I am loosing hope that my native country, Haiti, will never amount to anything.

I now finally believe that Haiti will always remain the "Laughing stock" of the world.

It's been almost one(1) year now since the earthquake destroyed Haiti, and yet, there is no sign showing any will commitment, dedication, and willingness to bring any change.

I started to wonder if God is an accomplice with the international community to really destroy Haiti and distinct the Haiti people from the face of the earth.

There is been a lot of talk and belief from the Cristian community that God is so angry at Haiti for the voodoo and many other things that he (God) keeps allowing all these natural disasters to hit Haiti.

Could that be true?

If it is, what kind of God is God?

I thought God was supposed to be a God of compassion, love, a God of mercy, a God of forgiveness, etc...What could Haitians have done so bad to God to make him so angry at Haitians?

Anyway, I am tired defending Haiti.

I am tired of waiting.

I am tired of hoping, and I am sick and tired of the incompetence and the mediocrity of those in charge in Haiti.

I am loosing hope. Give me one good reason to keep hoping.
