I clicked on the link it won't open, I cut and paste is till won't open. Maybe such a website does not exist.

Nevertheless, I want to caution everybody on donating money to certain organizations that claim to be doing wonders in Haiti.

Since the earthquake, Haiti has become a money making machine for a lot of people.

They just have to come up with a convincing, heartfelt story filled with emotion.

I have heard and witnessed so many of those stories about "books for Haitian kids" that will bring them joy. Really?

Can these Haitian kids read books written in English?

Ask yourselves this question.

Most of the books I heard and witnessed people/organizations are talking about are books written in English.

Be for real people, just because Haiti is in dire need doesn't mean you have to jump and grab any offer that is put before you. Learn to think first people.

Here's my suggestion to those who want to do wonders in Haiti.

If you really want to help Haitian kids to read, sponsor one or 2 children and pay his/her tuition to go to school starting from kidergarden or first grade to 12 grade.

It will costs you only $150-$350 (USD) a year depending on the grade the kid is in.

What I usually witnessed with this mambo jumbo book rethoric bringing joy to Haitian kids is that, most of the time, the people in Haiti who received the books for distribution ended up selling them instead.

And if a book gets to reach a kid's hands, the book more likely will be destroyed after the second day because the kid cannot read it.

For the sake of argument, let's say the kid could read that one book, will the kid continue to read that "ONE" book forever, over and over again?
