I would love to believe this, but the facts have been shown that africans were never powerless against the white man. They sold their brothers and sisters for more power.

Black people were not even economically viable as a workforce for a long time so the natives were used and many more were killed than the so called Africans.

Also, lets not forget that race had nothing to do with the slave trade, race became a weapon of justification and division, but had nothing to do with the fact that they needed a workforce.

Most of the white people that came to the americas were not infact rich or well to do, they were poor themselves, living in europe's dirt. Millions of poor white trash as we call them to day, or undesireables as they prefered to call them then, where in fact used as slaves on all levels.

A slave is a slave to a slave owner.

There were so many different slave plantations in the new world that to say it began with one slave and his master is ridiculous.

There were many slave communities and many did things they way they wanted.

The laws and restrictions came much later in the history of slavery.

Consider the fact that white women were no more than property themselves.

The division and justification was needed to pass laws to make it ok, to use a certain people as slaves.

These certain people were not property owners and thus, expendable and unimportant.

The white man has not concept of solidarity as a race. They have been killing each other since the beginning of their time, and so have we "African" people and everything inbetween.

Lets not try to build our own solidarity on lies, lets do so on forgiveness.

Today we do much of the same things, and race is still used as justification for our actions.

Sometimes though, we use other tools, like religion.

For instanstance, who are the Terrorist that we in the west are combatting?

All you gotta do is make it a us verses them issue and people will fall in line. Lets be honest about our transgressions or we will never grow. My people were bought and sold like property.

We were not the first, nor the last to go through this. Its rich against poor, not white vs black.

Corperations were our slave masters then, and today is no different.

Except that people now think they are more free, but the truth is, we all work for cesar.
