I don't believe anyone was belittling you because you have received an honorary medal from the United States.

But a statement to the effect that you will get on somebody's trail with the FBI is an insult to your perceived intelligence.

FBI does not get involve with personal matters, they are a federal institution...

I also recall that your mother was praising Charles Henri Baker when he was a possibility of his presidency.

Now that your mother is sending kind words about Mr. Preval.

In itself, there is nothing wrong with that; but contextually, we know that Preval and Baker have opposing political views.

But to each his own, you know....whatever floats your boat, so to speak...
