It is not well stated as you argue it Rooster.
Haitian economic and political elites act as inferior people in the Caribbean region and Haitian citizens mean nothing to them while America is showing bad images of Haiti on a daily basis in its media.
Americans whether conservatives or liberals are contributing in many parts to those bad images.
America loves showing those images and it helps them earning more money because the Haitian Bourgeoisie does not care at all. America creates hatred for many Haitians around the world as being our closed neighbor in the region.
That is not the right way to treat a neighbor and specially a country that has shed its blood through America's battles for its independence.
We are hated in the world because America keeps showing bad pictures of us instead of helping us change those pictures through a social revolution.
That's the kind of hypocrisy game that we refuse to play with America.
Help us overthrow that Bourgeoisie to change stuffs around instead of creating hatred for us. Haitians love Americans but the United States government is not helping Haitians at all. Rather it would like spending American taxpayers money in Haiti for no reason through this corrupted Haitian upper bourgeoisie.
To repeat Professor Robert Fatton, both American elites and Haitian elites are ignorant and that can be proven in many ways. What we needs Rooster is this America must stop destroying us as well as tarnishing our reputation.
Our Founding Fathers did not join America for curse and hatred.
When other people around the world did not believe in America as a weak nation in the 16th and 17th centuries, our ancestors believed to death in America and they had helped to make America to become strong and stronger up to today's date.
Haiti's poverty is the result of bad American foreign policy and the day they can change their foreign policy for better cooperation the better and the stronger Haiti will be. That's what it is all about...
