Finalizing the new adoption law in Haiti

< Previous | Home | Next >

M. Preval,
I would like to request that before you leave office, you finalize the new adoption law.
I am a Canadian citizen, and would very much like to adopt one of your country's beautiful children.

However, I have only been married 6 years, not 10. It is frustrating that if I was single, I could adopt, but because I am married, I can not. Can not a married couple provide more love and security?

I think it would be an amazing legacy for you to leave your country - you would be known as the Prime Minister who changed the lives of so many, and who modernized the outdated Haitian law.
What a great memory with which to leave your governing time!

Thank you for your time.

Kimberly
