Wow! This is very good. I am so happy that I have discovered this blog. I am learning so much from all of you. For example, I did not know that the French Institute had projects to develop our 5 islands.

As you said why we did not develop it?

Is it money or corruption?

We do not know. What I do know is that we have to put our head together and take action to get the country going.

We do not need to rely totally on the goverment.

My idea is that it would be better to start developing one of our islands, namely, Tortuga.

If it is a money problem that we have, we can start small and grow later.

As you said Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic was not developed (totally) by Dominicans (except for Oscar de La Renta who is Dominican).

It was mostly Spaniard and Canadian invetors.

Therefore, we have to do the same thing and allow international investors to help open up our country.

Que Dieu vous benisses!
