An intrseting point.

Under Aristide there was a fight for democracy in Haiti.

Democracy a name used to disguise that he just another power hungry leader.

At least under the Duvaliers there was some improvements made to Haitit.

Under Francois The effects of the American Occupation was erased.

We had many new infrastructures built.

And many industries were about keeping employment in Haiti great.

Jean-Claude took money, arisitide took money.

At least Jean-Claude up until the late seventies completed many of his fathers projects that help keep Haiti going.

Aristied couldn't even do that. So now we had his macoutes no control of crime and the embarssment of our great nation.

You would have to find those born beofre or early on during Papa Doc's regime who could tell you of his deeds.

Yes he was a dictator, but "democratically elected" aristided was one in disguise.

He killed many people also. At least the macoutes maintained law and order.

Now in P-Au-P everything is backwards.

It is for these reasons as an educated individual that I laugh at quoters of aristide, and proudly display my uniform of blue jeans and a large red hankerchief on my neck.
Sunglasses on face manchetes in hand.
