You are in a better position to collect book in the United States than someone in Haiti.

If you want french books and magazines, I would suggest you contact public libraries in Canada or in France.

You might want to inquire about what their policy is, as far as acquiring books and magazines from them. Usually, some libraries put the magazines in the back shelf as soon as the next one comes.

Ask them if they want to donate them to a library in a third world country.

I foresee that one of the problems you are going to have is to transport them to Jean Rabel in Haiti, especially if you collect a lot.
