Voodoo did not give us Independence.

However, it was present at the inception of our country.

Sir Spencer, british embassador wrote a damaging book about Voodoo practice in Haiti in 1889 (Haiti or the Black Republic) that sealed the perception of cult of Voodoo.

Voodoo is religion, no different than all the other animist religion.

Voodoo asks from the spirits (the loa) the same good thing we all ask from our gods -: peace, prosperity and blessing for the children.

Voodoo is the religion of the majority of the Haitian people.

We have to deal with Voodoo if Haiti is to reconcile with itself.
