What about Double Nationality?

< Previous | Home | Next >

It is time for the Senat in Haiti to know for certain there is no such a thing as double nationality.

Nationality is what we were born with; while citizenship is something we acquired through naturalization in an another country.

Sure, there is double citizenship.

I was born Haitian, I will die Haittian no matter what. Being a US citizen has nothing to do with my nationalty.

For instance, since creole is not a language per se, my US passport is in French and English, while my children'passports are in English only. This proves that I cannot lose my Haitian roots.

While other countries did not question our alma matter, but you did. Instead of working to change people's life in Haiti, Mr. The Senator you are worried about an another Senator nationality.

Vote some firm and concrete laws to eradicate the insecurity in Haiti, frauds, kidnakping so forth and so on.
