Mr. Titus: I detect a bit of sarcasm in your response.

You keep bringing up the ugly past. It would be a good idea to find closure from your childhood traumas.

Therapy is usually the best medicine.

Focus on what makes you so resentful of the elite in Haiti who are successful.

Perhaps you are not successful as you wish to be. You are still working for the "master" aren't you. Its time to make plans to open your own business.

Your life will be more meaningful.

Perhaps you have a selective memory: How about some true ugliness: Toussaint for instance after attending church massacred all his Spanish allies.

He massacred over 300 cultivateurs one day, he even his adopted nephew executed, because they had risen against the French.

He wanted power at all cost and in those days he was trying to ingratiate himself to the French, He gave Dessaline orders to massacre thousands of his own countrymen again who were trying to wrest control from the French.

Toussaint got just what he deserved.

It was shameful to us Haitians the amount of French mistresses he had, when he was married, one Madame de Fissour and a box of every hair color of white women come to mind, He had so many illegitimate children also about what 11 total(2 with his actual wife Suzanne) yet he was celebrated as a great men. How would you like the elite to bring up the ugliness of the past They had truly inherited a ruined economy and managed to give the peasants a means of survival unlike your current leaders who are bathing in those hundreds of millions of dollars from the international community.

How would you like those same people to bring up the ugliness of such past. Christophe was an illiterate, and don't get me started on Dessaline and their close to slavery commercial agricultural laws. What would be the point to have a college when most of the population were at the first grade level.

Where would the funds come from your pockets perhaps?

I could be a little sarcastic also. I noticed that people with opposite views have a tendency to infuriate you. You cannot control the events in your own life, yet you would like to dictate to others how they should behave and what they should do. You probably do not have too many friends.

And I am also aware that you do insult people by using other names and you try to rationalize everything you do. Your past should not determine your future.

You need to make a decision to cope with that past find closure.

People eventually adapt.

Try to live in the present moment and God will bless your life.
