Haiti Must Change Strategy: Tourist Industry

< Previous | Home | Next >

To Compete and Succeed Haiti Must Change its strategy: The Tourist Industry:
Haiti should seek a partnership with Kerzner International Limited (NYSE:KZL), a leading international developer and operator of destination resorts and luxury hotel properties.

(Developer of Paradise Island at Bahamas and The Palm at Dubai) I believe Haiti would greatly benefit from a joint venture project with NYSE:KZL to capitalize on the tourist and business convention markets.

To develop the tourism sector Haiti needs to expand its current airport at Port-au-Prince with monorails to travel from one airline to another and or to
build a new International Airport and also launch its own airline: Air Haiti.

Haiti can build a few resorts in partnership with some reliable developers that will position Haiti to serve both luxury travelers and the middle market.

(ie.castles with a Caribbean flair and tropical villas).

The resorts could have distinctive archeological marine exhibits with a caribbean design theme.

They can also develop a water-theme park with an array of water slides with Caribbean lagoons, pirates coves, and pirates ships rides.

Haiti can also build
significant facilities directed towards the budding business convention markets.

Function spaces, such as ballrooms, Wedding chapels and wedding reception castles and expansive gardens, and a large Convention Center would be a necessity; A casino and a car race track would be a plus.

I strongly suggest that the tourist minister contact this corporation,, Sandals Corp. and The Excellence Corp. See Videos to expand your vision:
