Can a savage and a simpleton understand the need for Art?

Les beaux arts."If Alexandre Petion, Henry Christophe and Fabre Geffrard only cared about FEEDING THE PEOPLE, Haiti would never have a Palace or Citadel or primary and secondary schools or lycee or other cultural institution"quote from Claude previous post.* I know Claude you told us to ignore him. He probably have never been to a museum.

He should know though that those who have the opportunity to go to school will thrive and learn a little or a lot of everything, while those who cannot go to school will have a short miserable life.
"Art is a means to pleasure.

Every work of art causes the receiver to enter into a certain kind of relationship both with him or her who produced, or are producing, Art is a human activity consisting of one person consciously by means of external signs, hands on to others feelings he or she has lived through, and that other people are infected by these feelings and also experience them.
And if a person lack the capacity of being infected by art he or she might deep down be a savage."
The activity of art is as important as the activity of speech itself.
