current situation in Haiti

Dear Mr. Preval, I am an American that has traveled to Haiti to serve the disabled children and adults on behalf of ngo Healing Hands for Haiti.

I was in the country when you were elected and have tried to follow the news since then. I think you are doing a very good job as I see improvements in the streets everytime I visit your country.

I am saddened that the manifestations turned to looting but can have some compassion for the people that want to do right and feed their family.

I hope you won't forsake the people at this time and do what is necessary for them to feed their families.

I am not a political and don't have any answers- just a plea to you to listen to the voices of the people I have come to love and serve.
