International influence

For many years, Gembloux Agricultural University has contribued to the development of education and research in agronomy, envrionment and biological engineering.

The worldwide reputation comes from the links between the University ans students, coming from over 40 countries, and is also due to the fruitful relationship with the Royal Association of Engineers from Gembloux Agricultural University (AIGx); the expertise and experience of these members are also well known worldwide.

The University participates in several international programmes including:

* AIF (Agence Internationle de la Francophonie);
* AUF (Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie);
* CIDEFA (Conférence Internationale des Directeurs et des Doyens des Etablissements supérieurs d'expression Française des Sciences de l'Agriculture;
