By the way, Christophe comitted suicide and all the historical data shows that it was because he felt paralized by the progress and inroads that his rivalJean Pierre Boyer was making.

Boyer received an education in France at a military school, Again, it is not that academic education makes the man, but it does seem that those who have an education (academic or self thaught) to back their natural leadership abilities do do better.
