Food Issue

< Previous | Home | Next >

Dear President Preval,

I am respectfully inquiring as to how you as an agronomist did not foresee nor did you implement a food policy for the republic.

It would seem to me agriculture would have been one of your strong points, yet on this issue you have failed the country.

With that said, how is the international community and the Haitian population to have any confidence you are capable of tackling the other major issues that are now pressing Haiti.

Furthermore, will you offer the nation in writing a plan of attack to correct some its most pressing problems: Agriculture, security, foreign investment, deforestation, opening of ports outside of the capital, roadway construction and maintenance of roadway infrastructure, healthcare, education, pollution, access to clean water, electricity.

No one is expecting you to correct all of these problems, but correcting one of these problems surely would be a boon to your administration and would leave a platform for the next incoming president of the republic.
